Cabernet Sauvignon is rightfully considered the king of the red grapes, originating in the Medoc region of France. The first grapes were introduced into California before 1880, at the end of the Gold Rush. This famous “King of the Reds” pairs nicely with the richness of chocolate, each flavor well balanced against the other.
